– Analyze macroeconomic data, Monetary policy, and Real Estate Data, in order to interpret their effect on the US and global economy and, ultimately, their impace on US Real Estate Market
– Provide immediate commentary on major economic events and as economic data are released by publishing market snapshots, providing additional deeper analysis in daily / weekly publications
– Maintain a large number of economic models and spend about half of their time analyzing and writing, and half taking with clients, policymakers and media
– Develop and maintain reliable quantitative and econometric models
– Assist in and contribute to the production of periodic research papers/documents
– Model and forecast key macro and financial variables for North American Real Estate and economies
Education
– Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Financial Engineering, Related field
Experience
– Experience with editing, creating, manipulating, and attributing data
Skills
– Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau / Scripting, Open source GIS
Preferred Experience:
Field
GIS, Time Series, Machine Learning
Visualization
– Excellent proficiency of data visualization: Infographic, Tableau, Shiny, D3 is preferred
Web products
– Demonstrate knowledge and ability to develop data analysis into web products
